Holiday Program
Can you imagine children anxiously awaiting a special meal at Thanksgiving and fining none? Or waking in anticipation of gifts under the tree only to discover that Santa was unable to provide gifts this year? It is a difficult thought to ponder, but for many children and families, this is all too real.
Each year, during the holiday season, Outreach supports the needs of individuals and families that find it difficult to provide the simple blessing of a Thanksgiving meal or a Christmas gift. Through the Holiday Program, Outreach purchases grocery store gift cards and distributes them during the holiday season to eligible individuals and families in need of a special meal.
In addition, Outreach utilizes special "Angel Trees" that are distributed to churches and other organizations that desire to help purchase a gift for a child during Christmas time. The child's age and gender is placed on the tree and interested individuals, families, organizations, etc. may select one or more "Angels" from the tree to purchase a special gift(s).
Monetary donations may be given directly to Outreach for the Holiday Fund which supports the purchase of grocery/food cards and Christmas gifts or a gift to Outreach which helps support this and many other programs, services and our mission.
