Holiday Programs​ (2022)

Outreach clients: Outreach will host two holiday programs this year - Thanksgiving & Christmas. Please mark your calendar with these important dates - 

• Thanksgiving Meal Boxes (pick up November 1 - 23)
• Christmas 
  • Gift Distribution: pick up at Withall (76 North Peak Street, Columbus NC), December 5-7, by appointment only
  • Special "12 Days of Christmas" Food Package: pick up during month of December (1st - 22nd) when you come to Outreach for EATS or food pantry shopping trip. Special note: make sure to pick up your food package by 12/22; Outreach closes from 12/23/2022 - 1/1/2023! 

Thanksgiving Meal Boxes (TMB) will be available for pick up when you come to Outreach 11/1-23 to shop for food, pick up EATS or request other services. TMBs will include a turkey and / or a ham (could be both, depending on the size of your family) and food items to cook your holiday meal such as - 

• dressing
• packet(s) gravy
• canned vegetables - green beans and corn
• canned cranberry sauce
• canned pumpkin
• pie crust
• box of mashed potatoes
• bottle of apple cider
• bag of sweet potatoes
• bag of onions
• chicken broth
• dinner rolls

Christmas Program registration will take place October 4 - 31, Monday & Thursday, 9am - 12pm & 1-6pm; Tuesday & Wednesday, 9am-12pm & 1-4pm at Outreach. Please note: Outreach is closed from 12-1pm daily and all day on Fridays.

The Christmas program includes children up to age 18 as well as senior citizens. Sign up is quick & easy -

​We have expanded our gift card selection this year to include Belk and Amazon. Both children (up to age 18) and seniors will receive gift cards from any of the following stores:

• Amazon
• Belk
• Dollar General
• Family Dollar
• Game Stop
• Old Navy 
• Target
• Walmart

During the registration process, you will give your store preference(s).​

Christmas gifts should be picked up at your scheduled appointment day & time, 
​December 6 - 9 at Withall, formerly known as Columbus United Methodist Church (76 North Peak Street, Columbus).
