21-Meals
Due to the government shutdown, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is suspended. During this period, 21-Meals will be implemented to ensure Polk County families and individuals have access to healthy and nutritious food each week. This plan will be in effect until SNAP benefits resume.
What is 21-Meals?
Outreach's Food Assistance program will provide households with a Breakfast & Lunch Box and EATS (Edible. Available. Time-Saving.) Dinner Kit — providing food for 7 breakfasts, 7 lunches and 7 dinners totaling 21 meals* (available weekly).
All 21-Meals food assistance will be distributed via drive thru pick-up.

Will all food assistance be drive-through pick-up?
Yes. To serve more families efficiently and safely during the SNAP suspension, Outreach's food pantry will conduct all food assistance via drive-through pick-up Who can receive food assistance while "21-Meals" is in effect? 21-Meals is open to all Polk County residents facing food insecurity or unexpected hardship. If I want to donate to the food pantry, what should I do? All donations are welcome and appreciated. For the greatest impact, monetary gifts allow us to purchase exactly what’s needed. During 21-Meals, please use our designated Donation Drop-Off Zone to keep traffic flowing. Please follow the signs, this areas will be marked. Who do I contact if I want to volunteer?
