Applications for Outreach’s 2026 Holiday Program will be open October 1–31. Thanksgiving Meal Package distribution will take place November 2–25, followed by Christmas Meal Package distribution December 1–17. Holiday gift distribution will take place on Friday, December 4 and Friday, December 11.

Each year, local businesses & churches help Outreach provide holiday meals and gifts for Polk County children and seniors. We would like to recognizes the partners who donated, collected items, sponsored families and helped make the season brighter for our community.

How You Can Help
Thanksgiving
Outreach distributes Thanksgiving Meal Boxes every November that include a turkey & ham, as well as, ingredients & recipes for many favorite side dishes. This month we are collecting Turkeys & Hams through November 26.
If you would like to contribute, please drop all food donations off at the Outreach Food Pantry door located along the left-hand side of the building.
Christmas
Our Christmas Gift Program provides gifts - toys & gift cards to Polk County children (ages 0 -18 years old) and senior citizens.
Our Christmas Gift Distribution is going to be held on two Fridays this year at Outreach: 12/4/2026 and 12/11/2026.
In order to ensure we have time to get toys and gifts ready for each child and senior citizen, we request that all gift donations be dropped off at 134 White Drive, Columbus, NC 28722 by Monday, November 30.
