Food Assistance

Our client-choice food pantry offers families the dignity of selecting the foods and essentials they need most. Shoppers can find groceries, personal care items, household products, diapers and pet food.

Self-Shop Pantry

EATS provides 4-5 ready-to-cook meals each week to Outreach clients. Each box bundles staple foods with simple recipes so dinner is easier, faster and more affordable.

In partnership with Polk County Schools, Backpack Snacks provides child-friendly, ready-to-eat snack bags for students who may not have enough to eat at home over the weekend.

Shelter Assistance

We offer support to help households maintain safe and stable housing during times of financial hardship.

Outreach may be able to help with urgent household expenses through direct vendor payments.

Polk County residents whose homes are unsafe or unlivable may apply for assistance through Outreach to help with eligible home repairs.
