Thanks to generous grants from The Cannon Foundation, Duke Energy and the Polk County Community Foundation, Outreach received a much needed face lift! Building improvements included -
- new food pantry office
- board room updates
- kitchen upgrades
- new interior paint and flooring
- lighting upfit
- new gutters
- security cameras
Before and After updates -
Carpet updates - Brown carpet with gray and beige flecks was installed in early March over a 3 day weekend. Big improvement!
Painting updates - A paint palette was selected, giving staff 3 warm, neutral color choices for offices and hallways. Several common areas were painted a tranquil green.
Lighting upfit - More efficient, safer, softer lighting was installed throughout the entire Outreach building, including the lobby, staff offices, hallways, food pantry and kitchen.
New gutters and security cameras - The old gutters were sagging and leaking, causing drainage problems on our sidewalks. The security cameras outside provide coverage all around the building and in our lobby. New exterior light packs add additional safety and security
