Endowment Gifts
A non-restricted endowment fund gift is an investment in the future of Thermal Belt Outreach Ministry (Outreach). The gift principal is placed into the Endowment Fund and left intact. Interest on that principal may be used to fund Outreach's programs, services and on-going operations. A gift to the Endowment Fund is a gift that continues giving for the benefit of the families we serve.
An endowment committment of $25,000 or more may be named and completed all at once or in payments over five (5) years. Again, the principal will be kept intact and the interest income may be used for unrestricted purposes or may be restricted by the donor for a specific program or purpose. Those wishing to create an endowment should contact Thermal Belt Outreach Ministry to establish guidelines for the gift.
Endowment gifts are prudently invested by a professional firm and overseen by the Board's Finance Committee. Distributions to Outreach from new endowments will begin one (1) year following the completion of the fund.
