​Holiday Programs (2024)

Outreach clients: Outreach will host two holiday programs this year: Thanksgiving & Christmas. Please mark your calendar with these important dates - 

• Thanksgiving Meal Boxes ~ pick up November 4 - 27
  • ​Thanksgiving Meal Boxes (TMB) will be available for pick up (11/4 - 27) when you come to Outreach to shop for food, pick up EATS or request other services. TMBs will include a turkey and / or a ham (could be both, depending on the size of your family) and food items to cook your special holiday meal. 
• Christmas ~ 
  • Gift Distribution: you will pick up your gifts at Outreach again this year (134 White Drive, Columbus NC), on either Friday, December 6 or Friday, December 13, by appointment only
  • Special "Winter Wonderland" Christmas Food Package: pick up December 2 - 19, when you come to Outreach for EATS or your monthly food pantry shopping trip. Special note: make sure to pick up your food package by 12/19; Outreach is closed 12/23 - 26.

Holiday Program registration: To help with preparations, Holiday Program registration includes Thanksgiving and Christmas food this year as well​ as gifts for children and senior citizens. Holiday Program registration will take place October 14 - November 7, anytime online or Monday & Thursday, 9am - 12pm & 1-6pm; Tuesday & Wednesday, 9am-12pm & 1-4pm at Outreach. Please note: Outreach is closed from 12-1pm daily and all day on Fridays.

The Christmas Gift Program includes children up to age 18 and senior citizens. There are 2 quick and easy options to sign up:

Back by popular demand, gift cards will be part of our gift distribution again this year. Choose a favorite (or 2) from the following stores:

During the registration process you will give your store preference(s). Outreach will do our best to match everyone up with their first choice, but can not guarantee.

Christmas gifts should be picked up on your scheduled appointment day & time, on either Friday, December 6 or 13 at Outreach (134 White Drive, Columbus).
